comfortable stay with lovely amenities
The property is gorgeous, with delightful animals that create a lovely atmosphere. I was impressed by the snacks and beverages provided, such as the homemade lava cake muffins and fresh ground coffee in the well-stocked room. The breakfast made by the owner was a real highlight and set a wonderful tone for the day. The garden view added a charming touch to the experience.
But the check-in process could be improved for efficiency.

Our stay in the Standard King Room was lovely, featuring fantastic views over the farm. Unfortunately, the check-in process was a bit slow. Enjoyed canoeing and exploring hiking trails on site, too. Overall, a great getaway!

The Hayloft room in the red barn offers spacious size and excellent king-sized bed for comfort. Fresh breakfast made from local ingredients, including eggs and waffles, paired well with Oconee Coffee Roasters coffee to start the day right.
Despite the charm, the property isn’t as rustic as expected. it’s a repurposed building rather than an actual barn. The bathroom nightlight didn’t work, which was a minor inconvenience, but hardly a dealbreaker for an overall pleasant stay. Farm noises begin early, so light sleepers might want earplugs.

Some rooms could feel compact instead of spacious!!! A little more attention to minor maintenance, like broken nightlights, would enhance the overall experience!!! Late check-in process left us feeling rushed!!!

We had an amazing time at this charming property! The accommodations were spotless, and we loved feeding the animals and exploring the grounds. Breakfast was truly outstanding with farm-fresh ingredients! We enjoyed a guided walk in Madison and took a short trip to the Masters. Highly recommend it for a getaway with friends.
I did wish the check-in process was a bit smoother. It took a little longer than expected, which made us anxious to settle in and start enjoying our stay.

The Farmhouse Inn in Buckhead truly dazzled with its charm. The breakfast options were exceptional, featuring freshly made dishes like the ‘sloppy omelette’ and delightful apple dumplings. The mini fridge in my room was stocked with water and snacks, adding a nice touch. I particularly enjoyed the cozy feel of my room, highlighted by luxurious Parachute brand sheets and fluffy towels. Exploring the farm was a joy. feeding the friendly chickens and horses brought smiles to my daughter's face. However, we had a bit of a hiccup with the check-in process, which took longer than anticipated, causing us to feel a bit rushed. Also, there's a minor issue—some noise from the animals might wake light sleepers, so earplugs could be handy. Overall, I would definitely plan to return for another family adventure, as this place provides such a nurturing ambiance for kids and adults alike.
